Azerbaijan Fencing Federation was established on April 28, 1992 and became a member of International Fencing Federation in May, 1992.
The early report-election conference of Azerbaijan Fencing Federation was held on September 20, 2017 in the National Olympic Committee administrative building and new executive members were elected.
Mikayil Jabbarov was elected as president of Azerbaijan Fencing Federation in the assembly held at National Oympic Committee`s headquarters. Balakishi Gasimov was elected as president of Azerbaijan Fencing Federation in general assembly held in Ministry of Youth and Sports on November 20, 2021.
Fikrat Zeynalov and Farhad Kasimov are the vice-presidents, Vasif Mammadov is the Secretary General of Azerbaijan Fencing Federation.
