Anna Bashta – winner of European Olympic Qualification Tournament held in 2021, Madrid, Spain. She is also gold medalist of U-23 European Sabre Championship held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and participant of Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

Zarifa Huseynova, member of Azerbaijan Women Sabre National Team won bronze medal in cadet world championship held in 2021, Cairo, Egypt. This is first ever medal won in cadet world championship in Azerbaijan Fencing History.

Sevil and Sevinj Bunyatova sisters, medalists of Baku 2015 1st European Games Sevil won silver, Sevinj won bronze medal in sabre competitions. Sevil lost 14:15 to Angelina Vatora from Poland in the final. Sevinj also lost to Polish sabre fencer in the semifinal.

Azerbaijani sabre fencer Yelena Jemayeva a twice World champion (1999, 2000) and European champion (1999). She competed in the individual sabre event at the 2004 Summer Olympics but was upset in the quarterfinals by eventual gold medalist Mariel Zagunis of USA
